Readers’ Choice: Food News Edition


Here’s another post where I feature a number of articles that I’ve found interesting and informative and think would be helpful, but leave the choice up to you. Of course, I would say read them all! 🙂


# 1 – If you are using aluminum foil for wrapping or cooking your food, please read this…..

# 2 – Fascinating information and research identifying the people with the healthiest hearts on the planet and what they eat. A good read for everyone, but especially If you are following a paleo diet. It may help make sure you’re on track with eating what will give you the most benefit….

# 3 – If you are a fish eater, then this article could be very useful in learning how to identify and protect yourself from toxic seafood. Some of this I’d read about before, but parts were new to me….

# 4 – Not sure how well researched all this data is , but if it is, then here’s a lot of good information on food freshness, storage tips, etc……

# 5 – To peel or not to peel, that is the question. 🙂

# 6 – Wow, interesting. I’ve always loved cooking with gas, although I’ve never lived somewhere that had a gas stove. AND I never thought about the health ramifications. Guess it was to my benefit that I only got to use one when I was staying someplace else…..

# 7 – And to end on, here’s a couple of interesting sounding recipes to consider….one for Oatcakes and other for “Mighty Vegan Meatballs” that sound pretty tasty, even if you aren’t vegan……
