Today’s post is a short one, but features a free resource I hope you’ll be inclined to take advantage of this weekend. Where I am is having a cold snap, so it’s the perfect time to curl up with a movie, some organic popcorn (cooked w/ coconut oil and sprinkled with Himalayan crystal salt, of course!), all washed down with some tart and tangy Reed’s Gogi/Ginger Kombucha….or whatever your healthy drink of choice might be…..
It’s great to find a movie that combines artistic eloquence with a vitally important message, and that’s why I’m excited about the premier of Dr. Pedram Shojai’s new movie Origins.
Dr. Shojai used to run a large medical practice, but he got tired of treating the same symptoms over and over. He wanted to understand the root causes of sickness and health and that desire drove Dr. Shojai to spend the last 4 years and nearly $1 million researching and producing Origins.
This documentary is a riveting indictment of a status quo that is sickening millions and robbing so many people of health, vitality and joy. But it’s also filled with solutions and hope. It’s a film that comes to some controversial conclusions. Whether you agree with them all or not, I’m sure you’ll find it inspiring, provocative, and uplifting.
It’s available to view for free until the 22nd. You can check out the trailer and sign up for access, if you want to see more. I hope you not only take the time to watch the whole thing, but also let others know about this time-limited opportunity.
Here’s what people are saying about the movie…..
I’m not Siskel and Ebert but I give it TWO THUMBS WAY UP…. and all my other fingers and toes too. Great Job, Well Done! Thanks so much for making it and sharing it with myself and hopefully the entire world.

Beautiful and inspiring. I wish everyone would watch this film because when you watch it and think about it, you feel empowered to make wise choices when it comes to your health. We have control over how we choose to live our lives and what we put into our mouths, and this film perfectly illustrates that. The obvious detailed work and creativity that went into this film makes it great. I appreciate what I learned from this important film, and to those of you who produced it….you sharing this information makes the world a better, healthier place. Thank you.
